Teacher Observations
1. A lie was told that data drives instruction. Let me tell you it doesn't. I teach before I have the data and last years data doesn't really mean all too much.
2."You can have 90% passing but if your sped kids don't [pass] it doesn't matter." Oh really?
3. There is only so much I can do in a day, a class period. We are behind. I don't have time to create an intervention inception. Hire more people.
4. Additional teachers expense: funding all of these organizations through candy sales. No I don't have a dollar. No, I can't buy any chocolate. No, I don't know anybody that wants some. Why do we think that is a good fundraiser? Giving 4000 kids a boxes of chocolate to sell to the same population of students and teachers is no bueno. Let's diversify the product.
